Acupuncture has a holistic approach, meaning it treats the whole body, body, mind and spirit.

If one part is imbalanced it can cause an imbalance somewhere else. Chinese medcine calls this approach treating the Root and the Branch. Only when the root of the issue is resolved will the symptoms go away.

Lifestyle has a very important part to play in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Your diet, exercise habits, lifestyle, sleep, stress, relationships, hours worked, hours having fun! They all contribute to a healthy well balanced body, mind and spirit.

Regualar acupuncture treatments, along with lifestyle changes & dietary advice are a combination for the sucessful treatment of most complaints. The more committed you are to following  the advice alongside the acupuncture sessions, the greater results you will see.

Treatment sessions last 1 hr

Cost €60 or €70 if combined with another therapy.

You can redeem some of your money back from your health insurance company, how much and how often can be found out by contacting them directly.

How acupuncture works

Chinese medicine is 5,000 years old & has survived this long because it is a system of medicine that treats the client as a whole. The Traditional Chinese medicine model is based on the theory that everything is energy. Modern quantum physics has now proven this theory.

The Chinese word for energy is Qi, energy runs throughout every cell and fibre of our bodies. The basic principle is, if this energy is stagnant or blocked symptoms such as pain or illness appear. During a treatment session needles are inserted into different points on the body, this encourages the free flow of Qi. When the energy is flowing well, the symptoms may reduce.
